Babylonia Tapes

Back in 1994/95 I was playing at a night called Babylonia on the campus of the University of Hertfordshire. It was the first in-house produced dance/club night the uni had run and it was quite popular. These are digitised copies of the analogue tape recordings from some of those nights. Unfortunately, I don't have them all.  
Warning: this is old and cheezy shit man!!

Babylonia Faithful is not a recording from a Babylonia event. Rather it was a tribute mix that was put together and handed out as a gift to the Babylonia Faithful posse. Recorded 1995.

This mix was first recorded in 1994, to analogue tape. I was studying at the University of Hertfordshire at the time and DJing at a night called Babylonia on campus.

I distributed the tape across the campus and it became quite popular amongst the Babylonia faithful and formed the soundtrack to many of the parties and gatherings that happened that year.

Over the years, I have received the odd request for replacement copies. So, I decided back in 2006 to commit it to the digital domain and make it available here.
